Prior to joing the firm, Ulrike worked for well reputed law firms in Luxembourg including Linklaters, OPF-Partners (currently Dentons) and Ogier. During this time, she gained extensive experience in the regulated investment funds area including all aspects relating to international and European regulation.
Ulrike is admitted to the Luxembourg bar since 1999 and gained her qualification as "Avocat à la Cour" in 2001.
Ulrike regularly publishes articles on investment funds matters in established international journals.
Ulrike is fluent in French, German and English and has a good knowledge of Luxembourgish.
Ulrike advises international clients, mainly investment funds promoters, credit institutions and major asset managers on all legal issues pertaining to Luxembourg regulated investment funds, including mutual funds and private equity structures (UCIUTS, UCIs, SIFs and SICARs). She is involved in the setting up of reserved alternative investment funds (RAIF) and also advises investment management companies and other types of professionals in the financial sector on all regulatory aspects. She has contacts and liaises with the Luxembourg financial supervisory authority in order to obtain the required licenses to start the regulated activities in Luxembourg.
Ulrike is also involved in advising alternative invesment fund managers (AIFM) and alternative investment funds (AIF) since the implemenation of the Euroepan alternative investment funds managers directive in Luxembourg.
